Women's Health Clinic

Montgomery County Health Department offers one Women's Health Clinic every month. These services are partially funded by Title X (federal grant), county taxes, and client fees. The clinic serves teens and women through age 45 who need comprehensive health care. Fees are based on family size and income level. Medicaid is accepted. No one will be turned away. This service is available to women in Montgomery County and surrounding counties. Services are strictly confidential.

Services provided include:

	Counseling and education
	Physical examination
	Pap smear for cancer screening
	Blood test for anemia
	Blood pressure
	Breast cancer screening
	Pregnancy testing
	Infertility counseling
	Sexually Transmitted Disease testing and treatment
	Contraceptive supplies such as birth control pills, Depo Provera shot, condoms, and contraceptive foam.

PREGNANCY TESTING

Pregnancy testing is provided by appointment

	The woman should be at least two weeks late on her menses and bring in a first morning specimen.
	Fees are calculated on a sliding fee scale determined by number in family and family’s total income. Medicaid is also accepted.
	Results are confidential.
	If the test is positive and client is income eligible, a WIC appointment will be scheduled and prenatal counseling is completed.
	If the test is negative, appropriate counseling will be completed including referral to Women's Health clinic or to private provider.
	This service is available for women in Montgomery and surrounding counties.
