MONTGOMERY COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT(MISSOURI)
The MCCHIP (Montgomery County Health Improvement Project) Community 2000 coalition was formed in 1995 and is composed of members of law enforcement, city government, the health department, family services, the community action center, local educators, local youth, school nurses, extension services, developmental disabilities services, local churches, and concerned Montgomery County citizens. MISSION:“Improve the overall health and well being of all Montgomery County citizens by increasing health awareness, assessing and prioritizing current community health needs, and empowering residents to take an active role in this ongoing process.”
Long Term Goal:Reduce ATOD (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs) use among youth by 10% by 2015.
